Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors seeks Resort Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance for Sun's resorts. You will handle building repairs, grounds upkeep, and safety for guests and residents, supporting timely arrivals and departures.

Role requires outdoor work year-round, ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong teamwork. Comprehensive benefits and daily-pay options are offered, with on-site responsibilities across Sun Outdoors locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to perform outdoor work in varying temperatures.
• General knowledge of janitorial, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power equipment and basic machinery.
• Ability to produce legible written reports and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and perform maintenance or repair duties using power equipment and tools.
• Complete minor repairs to rental units and facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor emergency repairs (plumbing, sewer, construction, street repair).
• Inspect irrigation systems and repair as needed.
• Inspect playgrounds, pools, and amenities for safety and condition and perform minor repairs.
• Maintain grounds, plantings and lawn care; trim shrubs, rake leaves, and manage debris.
