Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is seeking Resort Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our resort properties. You will maintain cleanliness and upkeep of grounds, facilities, and utility systems while delivering excellent guest service and supporting site setups for timely arrivals and departures.

Role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, lawn care, and safety procedures, with a focus on keeping the resort inviting and compliant with curb appeal standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Ability to endure seasonal outdoor work conditions.
• Proficient in operating hand tools and power equipment.
• Ability to produce legible written reports and work well independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash, shovel, perform maintenance or repair duties using hand tools and power equipment.
• Complete minor repairs to rental units and facilities as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor emergency repairs (plumbing, sewage, construction, street repair).
• Inspect irrigation systems and repair as needed.
• Inspect playgrounds, pools, and other amenities and perform minor repairs.
