Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across resort properties. Responsibilities include repairs, grounds upkeep, irrigation, pool and amenity maintenance, and assisting with guest arrivals and departures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lb+, and experience in general maintenance. On-site, full-time role with competitive benefits and daily tasks to uphold curb appeal and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in general maintenance and outdoor work preferred.
• Ability to perform routine/minor repairs and use tools safely.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work independently or in a team.
• Solid written reporting and basic computer/email skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on rental units and facilities.
• Inspect irrigation, playground, pool, and grounds; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resort areas and curb appeal standards.
• Maintain lawns: weeds, mulch, shrubs, hedges, and seasonal tasks.
• Operate and care for tools, vehicles, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Assist with site setups and ensure timely arrivals/departures of guests.
• Report maintenance issues to manager and follow safety procedures.
• On-call availability for resort needs during non-business hours.
