Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities in Durango invites applications for a Facility Maintenance Technician seasonally through mid-October 2026. You will perform landscaping, carpentry, painting, and basic repairs to keep our resort grounds and facilities in top shape.

Earn $16 per hour with a complimentary RV site. You will work under the Facilities Supervisor, handle work orders, follow health and OSHA standards, and support guest and resident satisfaction through reliable maintenance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in facility maintenance preferred.
Familiarity with common maintenance tools and equipment.
Knowledge of health, safety, and OSHA standards preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Maintain grounds and facility per Roberts Resorts policies.
Perform ongoing preventative maintenance to ensure functionality and appearance.
Repair minor electrical work (change light bulbs) safely per standards.
Complete work orders in a timely manner to ensure readiness.
Address plumbing issues such as clogs and leaks.
Engage in landscaping: mowing, weed removal, brush clearing.
Maintain tools and maintenance equipment in good condition.
Work independently on assigned tasks with efficiency.
Comply with health, safety and OSHA standards.
Fulfill other related duties to support maintenance needs.
