Job summary

Westgate Park City Resort & Spa is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 to join our energetic team in Park City, Utah. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and guest-ready service to keep resort operations running smoothly.

You will perform repairs, help with electrical and plumbing tasks, and support inventory and procurement while upholding our safety standards and core values of hospitality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year hands-on trades & maintenance experience in a resort or commercial environment.
• Must regularly lift and/or move, push and/or pull up to 50+ pounds.
• Ability to read, write and converse in English.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Energetic, self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills are essential for guest and peer relations.
• Able to adapt to varying situations, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Candidates must pass a background check, drug test, and demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering and maintenance projects assigned by resort leadership with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep facilities and equipment running well.
• Complete basic upkeep tasks such as painting, caulking, and repairing wall damage.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues (toilets, tubs, jacuzzis, showers, faucets, sinks).
• Reset breakers and GFCIs, replace bulbs, and use voltage testing tools for basic electrical needs.
• Install, replace, and troubleshoot TVs, remotes, and related electronics.
• Diagnose and repair appliances, replace minor parts, and assist with full appliance swaps.
• Support procurement and inventory to ensure materials and tools are available.
• Use resort systems/software (including HotSOS) for communication and reporting.
• Follow safety protocols, identify hazards, and maintain a safe environment.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

We’re looking for a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 to join our energetic Facilities Maintenance team. In this role, you’ll help keep our resort running smoothly by supporting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, and responding to guest needs with confidence and professionalism.
