Job summary

The Bower Coronado in Coronado, CA is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain the resort’s physical structures and support the Maintenance Department. This role requires basic English, a high school level education, and a willingness to perform a range of general upkeep tasks.

Responsibilities include painting, plumbing, electrical work, preventative maintenance on guest rooms and equipment, and responding to alarms.

Qualifications

• High school education required with basic English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and equipment listed in the role description.
• Replace air filters and repair small equipment on request.
• Respond to urgent maintenance alarms and report findings to Front Desk.
• Maintain clean work areas and practice safe work habits at all times.
• Assist with cross-training and other duties as directed by management.
