Loews Coronado Bay Resort is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer I to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks across the property. You will respond quickly to maintenance requests, assist in emergencies, and ensure systems run safely and efficiently for guest comfort.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on experience, post-high school training in maintenance, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance or skilled trade experience in hospitality.
• Post-high school training in maintenance or engineering preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry certifications are a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and repair manuals.
• Proactive problem-solving and strong safety practices required.
• Experience with emergency procedures and routine inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled trade work across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Respond to maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergencies.
• Monitor hotel systems and equipment for safety and performance.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and address them promptly.
• Maintain documentation and maintenance records.
