Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a luxury high-rise in Coronado. The role requires a versatile skill set across painting, plumbing, woodworking, concrete repair and electrical work to maintain appearance and safety for residents and visitors.

Compensation ranges at $21-22/hr with a 9:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule Wednesday through Sunday. Join a team focused on reliable maintenance and building upkeep within a high-end property managed by FirstService

Qualifications

• Proven experience in painting, plumbing, woodworking, concrete repair and electrical work.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina for manual labor.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Paint, prep, and finish surfaces; repair stucco and build elements.
• Unclog sinks, diagnose leaks, and repair plumbing fixtures.
• Repair and replace light fixtures; manage basic electrical tasks.
• Perform misc. maintenance tasks and daily mechanical readings; maintain logs.
• Inspect boilers, fans, heat pumps, and chillers; assist with preventative maintenance.
