Job summary

Westgate Resorts in Orlando is seeking a maintenance technician to perform comprehensive facility repairs and preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general engineering tasks. You will respond to guest service needs and ensure safe, well-maintained amenities.

The role requires 1–3 years in a resort or commercial maintenance setting, a valid Florida driver's license, and a CPO license where applicable. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work weekends/holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma.
• 1–3 years in Engineering/Maintenance operations in a resort or commercial environment.
• Must have and maintain valid Driver's license.
• CPO license as required by Resort.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds; must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general engineering duties as directed by resort leadership.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing fixtures, minor electrical components, and household appliances.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Repair interior/exterior walls, ceilings, and floor surfaces; handle painting and caulking.
• Maintain pools and spas, including chemical balancing and routine cleaning.
