Job summary

Westgate Resorts—VI Resorts by Westgate—Leavenworth is seeking an on-site Engineering Leader to guide maintenance projects, preventive maintenance, and daily work orders, ensuring a safe and memorable guest experience.

You will supervise a team, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and oversee small construction or renovation tasks while maintaining strong safety practices and guest communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in General Maintenance/Trades III or equivalent supervisory experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of maintenance, building systems, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Ability to lead projects and teams while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing; technical training or trade licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance projects, preventive maintenance, guest requests, work orders, and operational initiatives.
• Supervise, train, and develop team members with a focus on safety and service.
• Inspect and troubleshoot MEP systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Diagnose and repair equipment, appliances, fixtures and resort systems.
• Oversee small construction/renovation projects (drywall, carpentry, flooring, etc.).
• Manage tools, materials, purchasing, and inventory; use resort software to document work.
