Job summary

Westgate Resorts in Kissimmee, FL seeks an experienced Facilities Assistant Director to assist the Director of Engineering. You will manage all engineering and maintenance operations, supervise the facilities team, and ensure safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction across resort buildings and amenities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with departments, reviewing designs, overseeing projects, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset life and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma, Bachelor's, or Associate’s in a maintenance-related field.
• OSHA safety certification preferred.
• Preferred licenses/certifications in core trades: refrigeration, plumbing, or electrical.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor facilities and maintenance teams to ensure safety and operational excellence.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pools, and common areas for safety and appearance.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth resort operations.
• Manage projects through design, construction, and renovations with budget and timeline control.
