Job summary

Royal Palms Resort and Spa is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool systems. You will respond promptly to maintenance requests, perform preventive maintenance, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in a luxury resort setting.

The role requires 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance or engineering, strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work weekends and PM shifts, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance or engineering.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pool systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Must be available to work weekends as well as PM shifts (2:30 pm- 11 pm).

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and resort equipment.
• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, chemical balance, and operation of resort pools and hot tubs.
• Participate in emergency response and regular safety compliance training procedures.
