Job summary

Omni Hotels is seeking a security team member responsible for patrolling resort property, assisting guests and associates with safety, and documenting incidents per policy. You will initiate investigations, monitor safety systems, and maintain confidentiality while ensuring timely follow-up with guests and staff.

The role requires standing/walking up to 8 hours, AM/PM shifts, effective communication, and a flexible schedule including holidays. On-call position with on-site work at the hotel.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel security and safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively by telephone, email, radio, and reporting.
• Calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel property to ensure safety of guests and employees and protect assets.
• Answer house calls to assist guests and associates with safety, security, and operations.
• Initiate investigations of crimes against property and persons and follow up as needed.
• Assist sick or injured guests or associates with proper documentation and reporting.
• Record, report, and correct unsafe conditions while patrolling.
• Monitor access for visitors and vendors and issue visitor badges.
• Escort special guests requiring privacy through designated access points.
• Assist in checking alarm systems and monitoring building safety.
