Job summary

The Hotel Hershey is seeking a Part-Time Lifeguard to help ensure the safety of guests and team members at its swimming pools. You will enforce rules, monitor facilities, and respond to emergencies with professional lifeguard skills.

Excellent physical condition and the ability to work weekends are required. Hershey Entertainment & Resorts offers flexible perks, including free park access and employee discounts, to support a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to swim 100 yards using crawl or breaststroke without resting.
• Must be able to feet first surface dive and retrieve a 10 lb. brick from a minimum depth of 8 ft.
• Must be able to tread water for 1 minute and exit the pool safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce pool rules and safety regulations.*
• Respond to aquatic emergencies and provide lifeguard support.*
• Monitor equipment and supplies; maintain a clean work area.*
• Maintain lifeguard and first aid skills at a test-ready level.*
• Participate in weekly lifeguard in-service training.*
• Other duties as assigned.
