Job summary

The Hotel Hershey is seeking a part-time lifeguard to ensure guest safety at its swimming pools. This role includes enforcing rules, responding to emergencies, and participating in weekly in-service training. Must be 16+ and complete the hotel’s training program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ellis & Assoc. International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program paid for and provided by Hershey properties.
• Pre-employment drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and enforcing pool rules and safety regulations (essential).
• Anticipating and responding to aquatic emergencies (essential).
• Monitoring equipment and supplies.
• Maintaining the pool area and surroundings.
• Lifeguards must keep lifeguard and first aid skills at a test-ready level.
