Job summary

Hershey Lodge is seeking a part-time lifeguard to ensure pool safety and guest satisfaction at the Hershey Lodge facility. You will enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment while working a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Applicants must be 16+ and complete the Ellis & Assoc. Lifeguard Training paid for by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. Prior lifeguard experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older on the date of applying.
• Attend and complete Ellis & Assoc. International Pool and Lifeguard Training Program provided and paid for by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce pool and attraction rules and safety regulations.
• Anticipate, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies.
• Monitor equipment and supplies.
• Maintain work area and surrounding environment.
• Maintain lifeguard and first aid skills at test-ready level at all times.
• Participate in weekly lifeguard in-service training.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
