IHG Hotels & Resorts seeks a General Manager for Kimpton Fredericksburg, a new build resort with 210 keys and multiple amenities, on the edge of downtown Fredericksburg, TX. Lead a high-performing team to drive occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of upper-level management experience in hospitality.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to encourage, lead and manage a team by example.
• High level of creativity, enthusiasm and flexibility.
• Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills both internally and externally.
• Ability to convert vision into tangible actions to benefit the property.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy and ADR.
• Coordinate with ownership to strategize and execute growth projects.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve guest issues.
• Collaborate with restaurant and spa to promote the Kimpton property.
• Protect and enhance hotel asset value through maintenance and capital budgeting.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and proper accounting controls.
• Forecast weekly operating staffing and costs; align with sales.
• Review and approve operating expenses.
• Perform additional tasks to achieve organizational goals; engage with local industry events.
