Job summary

Kimpton Fredericksburg, a new build resort hotel in Fredericksburg, TX, seeks a General Manager to maximize financial performance while delivering exceptional guest service. Lead a diverse team across Reservations, Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Security, Maintenance, Sales and Marketing, and People & Culture.

The GM will partner with ownership, drive sales/marketing initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of upper-level management experience in hospitality.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to encourage, lead and manage a team by example.
• High level of creativity, enthusiasm and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor and participate in comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy and average rates.
• Coordinate and assist with guest satisfaction and guest resolutions.
• Maintain cross-relationships with restaurant and/or spa; promote the entire Kimpton property.
• Protect and enhance hotel assets through maintenance, security, and housekeeping programs.
• Coordinate weekly forecasting and planning of operating staffing and costs.
• Supervise and develop the performance of all operating departments.
