Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a resort host for Andaz Maui at Wailea in Hawaii. The role centers on greeting guests, registering arrivals, and guiding them through our resort experience with knowledge of food and beverage offerings and activities available on-site.

Ideal candidates will excel in service, communication, and hospitality in a fast-paced environment while supporting a warm, caring culture. Two weekly full workdays are required, with shifts spanning mornings to evenings.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Proficiency with OPERA, HotSOS, RESERVE preferred
• Fun and articulate person with a great sense of humor and attitude
• Must be available to provide a minimum of two full days of work availability each week. A full day includes early morning, mid day, afternoons and evenings.
• Personality and presentation will play a key role in becoming a successful candidate

Responsibilities

• Register arriving guests and welcome them into Hyatt.
• Coordinate valet and luggage services.
• Help arrange activities that have not been previously arranged.
• Provide knowledge of resort amenities and F&B offerings.
• Assist guests with reservations and accommodations to enhance their stay.

A resort host is the key to our Andaz guest journey. As the main arriving and departing point of contact, the resort host is responsible for registering all arriving guests and welcoming them into our home. The resort host is required to be knowledgeable in all areas of the resort including food and beverage offerings available, coordinating valet and luggage, and helping arrange activities that have not been previously arranged.

Andaz Maui at Wailea is the first resort for the Andaz brand. Situated on Maui’s premier southwestern coastline, the 15-acre beachfront resort will be located along Mokapu Beach in Wailea, one of the most sought after leisure and resort destinations in the world. The luxury resort community of Wailea includes a 1.2 mile-long oceanfront beach path connecting five crescent-shaped, golden-sand beaches, a premier shopping center and distinguished restaurants.

90 - Day Probationary Rate: $26.51
Hourly Rate: $31.19
