Job summary

Holiday Inn Club Vacations in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests, owners and team members while delivering a safe, welcoming experience throughout the resort. You will patrol the property, respond to incidents, assist with lockouts, coordinate with emergency services, and contribute to a positive guest experience by applying first aid and safety procedures.

Two years of Security, hotel, or customer service experience are preferred; a valid driver’s license and required

Qualifications

• Two years of Security, Hotel, or customer service experience with high customer contact preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador of goodwill and provide outstanding guest service to all visitors and employees of the resort. Greet guests warmly, offer advice and guidance regarding the resort.
• Assist with lockouts, malfunctioning keys, and other operational issues. Identify and engage any suspicious person(s) who may interrupt the orderly operation of the resort while limiting liability.
• Patrol the resort to ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, and assets. Take the immediate and necessary steps to correct any safety hazards and cleanliness issues.
• Act as first responder to all guest and team member accidents and injuries on the property. Administer first aid, contact emergency services if required. Secure the First Report of Injury in the case of team member injuries; assist with the drug and alcohol testing of team members when appropriate.
• Field all security calls and dispatch accordingly. Liaise with emergency services when appropriate. Escalate issues in a timely and professional manner to the relevant Manager or Director. Input and maintain necessary computer files, including security reports, using reporting software.
