Job summary

Island Hospitality Management is seeking a Ranger for an RV resort in the United States. The Ranger will assist with site set-ups for arriving and departing guests, escort arrivals after hours, and monitor pools for unregistered guests while delivering excellent customer service throughout the resort.

This role may require flexible scheduling availability and involves multiple site safety and maintenance responsibilities as listed in the duties.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency with email and internet use.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work events during non-business hours.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead RVs to sites and locate them properly within site areas.
• Assist guests with site set-up as needed.
• Check transient sites daily for departures.
• Remove trash from recently vacated transient sites.
• Report maintenance issues and concerns to Resort Manager.
• Handle guest questions and complaints directly or refer them to the appropriate department.
• Provide guests with accessibility by patrolling the resort and assisting them when needed.
• Treat sites for fire ant infestation as requested.
• Inspect tie-downs for cleanliness, rust, damage, and other problems prior to permitting sale.
• Oversee the sales of sewer donuts and electrical adapters, if applicable.
• Complete site measurements as requested.
• Deliver special packages and/or one-day mail to appropriate sites.
• Assist with coverage of the main gate when needed.
• Routinely check swimming pools for unregistered guests.
• Tag vehicles for removal by owner at unrented transient sites.
• Follow safety procedures while performing duties.
