Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. in Temecula, CA, is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain landscapes, shrubs, and turf and to perform irrigation checks and seasonal beautification of the community.

The role requires outdoor work in varying weather, on-call availability, and reliable operation of power tools and equipment. A customer-service mindset helps enhance resident experiences and fosters teamwork within the property team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months in groundskeeping experience in apartment or manufactured housing preferred.
• 6 months in general grounds maintenance techniques required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the community is presentable at all times per curb appeal standards.
• Maintain community vehicle and equipment.
• Collect debris from common areas daily and empty trash as needed.
• Inspect irrigation system and perform repairs as needed.
• Perform lawn care tasks: weed control, edging, mulching, pruning, and plant care.
• Maintain pool(s) by testing and adjusting chemical levels if applicable.
• Follow safety procedures and report maintenance issues to the manager.
• Operate resort vehicles and transport equipment as needed while traveling within the property.
