Job summary

Sun Outdoors Palm Creek Resort & Residences is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across resort grounds and facilities. The role requires hands-on outdoor work and a commitment to guest and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include basic repairs, lawn care, irrigation checks, equipment operation and safety. On-call availability and ability to lift 50 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of maintenance experience preferred.
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Ability to work outdoors in seasonal conditions.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use email/internet.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and perform maintenance or repair duties with hand tools and power equipment.
• Complete minor repairs to rental units and facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance including plumbing, sewer, and street repair where needed.
• Inspect irrigation systems and repair as necessary.
• Inspect and maintain playgrounds, pools, and other amenities.
