Job summary

Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA seeks a General Manager to lead the property’s strategic, operational, and financial performance while delivering the highest standards of service. This executive role requires vision and dedication to guest and employee experience.

As a Full-Time team member, you will oversee budgeting, revenue growth, and compliance, mentor a diverse staff, and partner with departments to maintain brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Industry experience - General Manager.
• Minimum of 12 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to enhance the property, increase revenue, control costs, and maintain excellent service quality.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team through fostering a positive and collaborative culture to achieve department and property goals.
• Monitor financial performance through overseeing budget management, profit strategies, forecasting, and cost control measures.
• Establish and maintain operational efficiencies that ensure guest satisfaction through quality products and service standards.
• Partner with cross-functional departments to enhance guest experience and maintain brand integrity. Develop strategies in collaboration with the Marketing team to promote the property.
• Maintain property standards and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain effective communication with staff, guests, and other stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
