Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 (based on experience)

Are you an exceptional leader with a passion for operational excellence, a knack for systems implementation, and a desire to make a lasting impact? Woodson Bend Resort is seeking a forward-thinking Resort General Manager to oversee our vibrant community and guide us into the future.

We offer a unique blend of natural beauty, top-tier amenities, and a tight-knit community that makes our resort unlike any other.

Position Overview:

Woodson Bend Resort is seeking a visionary and results-driven Resort General Manager to lead our dynamic community into its next chapter. This high-impact role is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in resort or municipal management, expertise in systems and technology integration, and a strong foundation in construction and remodeling oversight.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the General Manager is responsible for all facets of resort operations—ensuring excellence in service delivery, operational efficiency, capital project execution, and homeowner engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Board to develop and execute long-term goals and objectives that align with the resort's mission and values.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations across all departments, including maintenance, security, housekeeping, amenities, ensuring efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Remodeling & Construction Oversight: Supervise the Remodeling Department and approve all contracted projects. Personally inspect all construction and remodeling projects to ensure standards, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Technology Integration: Implement and modernize resort systems to streamline communication, operations, work order tracking, and vendor coordination.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage the HOA's annual budget, monitor expenditures, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize resource use.
  • Team Development: Hire, train, and manage department leaders and staff while fostering a culture of accountability, service, and continuous improvement.
  • Community Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact with residents, contractors, and external agencies; maintain strong and transparent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess resort operations, identify areas for enhancement, and drive initiatives that promote innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in resort, municipal, or public agency management.
  • Experience in City Management or overseeing complex municipal operations is highly desirable and considered a strong asset.
  • Prior experience managing condominium associations or communities with individually owned units is strongly preferred. This includes navigating owner expectations, resolving homeowner concerns, and balancing community-wide needs with individual interests.
  • Proven background in condominium or commercial building construction and remodeling is required.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing technology solutions and improving operational systems.
  • Proven ability to manage complex budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Ability to supervise management-level employees and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident working with diverse stakeholder groups.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation is advantageous.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $100,000 – $120,000, based on experience.
  • The opportunity to shape the future of a vibrant, growing resort community in a stunning location.
  • A collaborative and supportive Board of Directors who value innovation and leadership.
  • A role with real impact—where your leadership directly enhances the experience of hundreds of residents and guests.
