Job summary

Luminary Hotel & Co in Florida is seeking an energetic Resort Lead Host to support daily Front Office operations, lead guest interactions, and uphold Marriott brand standards as part of Autograph Collection. The role provides hands‑on leadership at the front desk, helps train new team members, reviews night audit reporting, and ensures consistent service throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality/hotel experience preferred
• Proficient in hotel systems including Opera PMS, MARSHA, guestVoice & GXP
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively present information to individuals or groups
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Physical Demands: sit or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Front Desk operations and guest experiences.
• Maintain an active presence at the Front Desk and assist with arrivals, departures, guest requests, room assignments, billing inquiries.
• Ensure Front Desk coverage and adjust assignments based on occupancy and business demands.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Reservations, and other departments to resolve needs.
• Review Night Audit reports and Front Office discrepancies for accuracy.
• Serve as MOD when the Resort Manager is not onsite, providing leadership and resolving guest concerns.
• Assist onboarding and training of Resort Host associates and reinforce Front Office procedures.
• Promote Marriott Brand Standards and ensure audits and inspections are prepared and carried out.
