Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly greet guests, check in/out, and manage reservations with a focus on exceptional service. You will operate the front desk system, assist with inquiries, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy hotel environment. Prior front desk exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Positive, upbeat personality with strong customer service focus.
• Ability to multitask, stay detail-oriented and solve problems on the fly.
• Clear conveyance of information and ideas; strong listening skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations calmly.
• Basic math skills and ability to read/write simple instructions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests; provide friendly, efficient service.
• Handle reservations, check-ins and check-outs with accuracy.
• Operate hotel phone system and assist guests with inquiries.
• Inform guests about services, local attractions, and hours of operation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain appearance and grooming per brand standards.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages as needed.
• Support emergencies awareness and safety procedures as required.
