Job summary

Tetherow Resort in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Hotel Guest Service Associate to warmly welcome guests, check them in, and provide information on policies, services and amenities. You will coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room availability and guide guests to the appropriate resort staff for escort, transportation, and concierge services.

The role requires strong communication, listening skills, and at least two years in customer service, preferably hospitality or a resort setting; working

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of customer service experience, ideally in hospitality or resort.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Give our guests a warm welcome upon arrival
• Check guests in by verifying all names of party on reservation and issue room keys
• Provide guests with information on hotels policies, services and amenities
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room availability
• Direct guests to proper resort staff for escort, transportation, and concierge services
• Listen and respond to guest complaints in a gracious and appropriate manner
• Review the final bill with the guest, post charges and make corrections to the account
• Answer, record and process guest requests, including requests for special occasion assistance
