Job summary

Sundance Mountain Resort is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of lodging, public areas, meeting spaces, and restaurant facilities. You will supervise maintenance staff, plan preventive work, manage budgets, and ensure OSHA compliance across the property.

Exempt/salaried role with variable shifts, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs and on-call emergencies. Reports to the Director of Facilities.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry applicable to hotel properties.
• Experience with maintenance planning, records, and compliance with regulations.
• Supervisory experience and budgeting ability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tours to ensure systems and structures are in proper order.
• Plan and perform preventative maintenance across lodging, public areas, and facilities.
• Maintain maintenance records and respond to work orders in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Director of Facilities and other departments on projects.
• Manage maintenance staff scheduling and contractor coordination.
• Lead safety, OSHA compliance, and environmental initiatives in the department.
• Develop training programs and ensure licensing and certifications are up to date.
