Job summary

Horseshoe Bay Resort in Texas is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer who will be on call to ensure safe and efficient operation of the resort. The role provides frontline technical support to guest rooms, public areas, and internal departments with strong troubleshooting and prioritization in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; emergency response to alarms; system monitoring and energy management; and

Qualifications

Experience in three or more of the listed trades is required or preferred.
Ability to read drawings and schematics for repairs.
Experience with building maintenance and safety practices.
Strong troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs: perform general maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces.
Emergency Response: monitor life safety systems and respond to alarms.
System Monitoring: read meters and logs; document work performed.
Energy Management: identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Safety Compliance: follow safety procedures and address hazards.
Equipment Maintenance: keep tools and areas organized.
Operational Support: assist with special projects and other duties.
