Job summary

Westgate Resorts is seeking an Engineering Technician I for The Pines at Sunriver in Sunriver, Oregon. You will perform hands-on maintenance to keep the resort running smoothly, addressing preventive maintenance, repairs, and guest requests with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of hands-on experience in a trade or maintenance role.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with guests and team members.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work with energy, focus, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, and special projects.
• Perform general repairs, including painting, caulking, and facility upkeep.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, lighting, and electrical issues.
• Install and troubleshoot TVs, appliances, and in-room electronics.
• Use maintenance systems to document, track, and complete assigned work.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members to resolve issues.
• Follow established safety procedures and properly use tools and equipment.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards throughout the property.
• Support resort operations with additional maintenance needs and projects as assigned.
