Job summary

Westgate Resorts, at The Pines at Sunriver, seeks an Engineering Technician I to help keep the resort running at its best. You’ll handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and guest-focused tasks, contributing to a safe, comfortable guest experience.

You will document work, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with team members; a high school diploma and 0–1 year of maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0–1 year hands-on maintenance or trade experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with energy and enthusiasm.
• Excellent communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, and projects.
• Perform general repairs, painting, caulking, and facility upkeep.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, lighting, and electrical issues.
• Install and troubleshoot TVs, appliances, and in-room electronics.
• Document, track, and complete work using maintenance systems.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and communicate clearly.
