Job summary

IronOaks at Sun Lakes is seeking a bartender to prepare and serve beverages and food to guests at the bar, restaurant, or patio. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure a welcoming experience in a resort setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of bartending experience, a valid Food Handlers Card, and TIPS certification. A flexible schedule, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work with a team are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year experience bartending, in a resort facility preferred.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to perform basic math and calculate discounts and percentages.
• Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a productive work environment.
• Effective communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages and food to guests at bar, restaurant, or patio.
• Greet guests, assess beverage preferences, and recommend drinks.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Maintain clean bar area and proper safety procedures.
• Balance cash transactions and return correct change.
• Take inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
