VPB Management II LLC is seeking a bartender for Vespera Resort on Pismo Beach to prepare beverages and support food service in the restaurant and bar. This role involves partnering with the team to ensure guests receive timely, high-quality service in a luxury beachfront setting.

The position requires knowledge of beverages, liquor regulations, and strong guest communication. Compensation is $16.90 per hour plus gratuity, with health insurance, PTO, retirement plan, dental, vision, life

Qualifications

• Knowledge of beverages, recipes, correct glassware and garnishes.
• Knowledge of state liquor regulations.
• Understand hotel mission, vision, and goals.
• Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Able to communicate in the primary workplace language.
• Excellent communication, follow up, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift and be physically active

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per service standards.
• Anticipate Guests’ needs and make recommendations from preferences.
• Take Guests’ food and beverage orders and upsell.
• Complete opening duties and check bar stock and supplies.
• Requisition supplies and transport from storeroom to bar.
• Set bar and condiments per standards.
• Record orders in POS and handle payments.
• Follow safety and SOPs; maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with bar back and other staff to ensure smooth service.
• Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
