Job summary

Vespera Resort on Pismo Beach is seeking a Restaurant Host to greet and seat guests, assist with guest needs across the property, and help ensure every stay is memorable.

This flexible, on-site role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask, and teamwork. Compensation starts at $19.56 per hour plus tips, with a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Prioritize tasks with limited supervision.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Must communicate clearly with guests and colleagues.
• Must be able to lift and push/pull as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for greeting and seating guests in the resort restaurant.
• Determine guest seating preferences for lawn or indoor dining.
• Ensure accurate seating and coordination with service staff.
• Keep menus clean and the host area organized and inviting.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and uphold service standards.
• Follow safety procedures and resort policies while serving guests.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain attendance and reliability as part of the team.
