Job summary

El Capitan Canyon Resort is hiring a Resort Ambassador to welcome guests and manage daily operations in a luxury outdoor setting near Santa Barbara. You will report to the Guest Services Manager and help ensure a world-class guest experience.

The role involves greeting visitors, directing them to destinations, handling inquiries, and assisting with security-related tasks. A strong sense of teamwork and reliable communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to read maps.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet access.

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors, vendors, and contractors directing them to their destinations.
• Obtain names and information from guests entering the resort.
• Answer the telephone courteously and relay information to the appropriate channels.
• Receiving and tracking of packages and mail for resort operations.
• Note and report unusual occurrences.
• Assist with noise complaints, parking issues or other security responsibilities as needed.
• Drive the canyon regularly to escort guests, or delivering provisions to cabins.
• Monitor the resort noting any deficiencies or maintenance issues requiring attention.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Resort Ambassador at El Capitan Canyon Resort, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team who help provide a world class guest experience while playing an important role in maintaining the integrity and security of the resort.
