Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. seeks an Activities Associate to organize and lead resort activities, including the theater, fitness center, pool, and banquet areas. You will help guests have memorable vacations and coordinate with the Activities Supervisor to run all activity spaces.

The role requires creativity, strong communication, and the ability to manage safety and scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A valid driver’s license and basic software skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Creativity and customer obsession required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement when interacting with guests and team members.
• State driver’s license and comfort operating large vehicles such as shuttles or vans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Certifications such as Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Alcohol Awareness Card, Food Server Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
• Monitor, supervise, and assist guests in the activity center.
• Promote and register guests for resort activities.
• Conduct and record inspections of related activity areas in compliance with company standards and requirements.
• Manage a cash bank following proper cashiering procedures.
• Attend and complete required resort and company trainings.
• Handle all safety issues and incidents immediately.
