Job summary

The Activities Assistant at Sun Outdoors coordinates a variety of guest activities and assists with planning and executing events to enhance the resort experience. You will engage with guests, help set up and break down spaces, and maintain a welcoming, safe environment during activities.

You will also support training of team members and volunteers, help distribute weekly communications, and ensure equipment and supplies are kept in good condition while contributing to a positive Sun standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and attends activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners (Essential).
• Sets up and cleans up event spaces before and after activities to ensure a safe, organized environment (Essential).
• Promotes a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests (Essential).
• Serves as a role model for Sun standards and reputation (Essential).
• Maintains attendance tracking for each activity.
• Assists with training activities team members and volunteers.
• Distributes weekly newsletters to resort residents and guests.
• Ensures all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
