Sun Outdoors in Crystal River, FL is seeking an Activities Assistant (Part Time) to coordinate a variety of resident and guest activities at the resort. You will support event planning, engage guests, and help run daily activities to enhance the guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, independent work, and strong communication, with responsibilities for setup, newsletters, and maintaining equipment. A positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work well independently as well as on a team.
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and attend activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners.
• Set up and clean event spaces before and after activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Serve as a role model for Sun standards and reputation.
• Maintain attendance tracking for each activity.
• Assist with training activities team members and volunteers.
• Distribute weekly newsletter to resort residents and guests.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are kept in good condition.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
