Job summary

Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is seeking an entry-level to mid-level Sales Representative in the Houston, TX area. The candidate should have Resin/Polymer/Plastics product sales experience and a 4-year degree, with a willingness to travel and work in a manufacturing/trading environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sales experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Material Science or related field.
• Resin/Polymer/Plastics industry experience preferred.
• Background in distribution, trading, or Resin/Chemical industries.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, currency conversion, and related rates.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Advance the business in sales of Resin/Polymer/Plastics products.
• Prepare sales action plans and schedules.
• Develop relationships with existing and new clients.
• Arrange meetings and prepare estimates/proposals.
• Maintain sales activity reports and records.
• Respond to sales inquiries by phone, email, or in person.
• Observe market conditions and product development.
• Attend sales events, trade shows, and exhibits.
