Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Resiliency Engineer to design and evolve our Infrastructure Resiliency capabilities. You will own end-to-end architecture for backup, disaster recovery orchestration, and cyber-resilient infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and on-prem/cloud platforms.

You’ll define standards, drive roadmaps, and lead vendor evaluations while collaborating with InfraOps, enterprise architecture, and the CISO organization to ensure robust recovery solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure, data protection, or disaster recovery.
• Experience designing or contributing to recovery, backup, or DR platform architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for resiliency platform portfolio across backup and DR tools.
• Define and maintain design standards, reference architectures, and integration patterns.
• Own the resiliency roadmap and refresh annually as needed.
• Lead platform technology selection, proofs of concept, and architectural recommendations.
• Design target-state recovery architecture and evolve with infrastructure growth.
• Manage capacity & growth forecasting for storage, compute, and licensing.
• Establish integration and architecture-review standards for new systems.
• Collaborate with InfraOps, enterprise architecture, and CISO on recovery topology.
