Job summary
TEKsystems is seeking an Expert-level specialist to assess core infrastructure, develop automation and blueprints for resiliency, and drive disaster recovery maturity across cloud and on-prem environments. The role emphasizes risk mitigation, cloud-native strategies, and IaC adoption to ensure high availability.
You will collaborate with technical and business teams, monitor incidents, and continuously improve resiliency and reliability using Terraform, Ansible, and related tools in a hybrid
Qualifications
- Has expertise in risk assessment and mitigation.
- With resiliency and disaster recovery, high-availability cloud-native infrastructure and disaster recovery frameworks.
- Hybrid and on Prem- should be able to apply Cloud Concepts and automation to On Prem.
- Ansible and Terraform.
- Drift Management.
Responsibilities
- Assess core infrastructure and develop automation and blueprints for resiliency solutions that allow for addressing agreed RTOs during DR scenarios and in the event of an actual DR
- Develop resiliency strategies and best practices for products and services
- Introduce automation or IaC whenever possible to maintain a consistent experience
- Ensure the highest levels of resiliency and availability of infrastructure platforms
- Analyze and identify areas of potential risk and design solutions to mitigate those risks
- Develop blueprints and align with cloud journey and review boards to ensure standards are being met prior to implementation in the cloud
- Monitor performance of products and services and take action as necessary to maintain resiliency and availability
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance resiliency and reliability
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure requirements are met and to identify areas of improvement
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in resiliency and recommend changes as needed
- Monitor incident trends and provide options to enhance resiliency options to prevent further occurrences/outages
- Document and maintain processes, procedures, and standards related to resiliency and site reliability
