Job summary
U.S. Bank seeks a Principal Technologist - Resiliency & Availability to lead enterprise resiliency, recovery, and data protection initiatives.
You will assess maturity, drive improvements, and influence strategic roadmaps across servers, storage, networks, databases, middleware, cloud, and mainframe environments. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders, you will translate complex concepts into executive-ready content, support audits, and demonstrate recovery readiness
Qualifications
- 15+ years in infrastructure technology, architecture, or related disciplines.
- Broad technical expertise across servers, storage, networking, databases, middleware, cloud, and mainframe.
- Experience creating executive communications and business cases.
Responsibilities
- Maintain understanding of resiliency, availability, cyber recovery, disaster recovery, and data protection across Infrastructure Technology.
- Assess capability maturity and identify opportunities to improve resilience and customer outcomes.
- Develop business cases and influence strategic roadmaps for resiliency investments.
- Create executive strategy documents and clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner with architects, engineers, and application teams to evolve capabilities with changing technology and threats.
