Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Principal Technologist - Resiliency & Availability to lead enterprise resiliency, data protection, and recovery capabilities.

You will partner with architects, engineers, and business teams to ensure reliable, auditable, and compliant infrastructure across servers, storage, networking, databases, middleware, and cloud. You will drive maturity assessments, identify gaps, and communicate strategic roadmaps and business value.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across servers, storage, networking, databases, middleware, cloud
• Strong understanding of resiliency, recovery, data protection concepts
• Ability to create executive content and strategy documents

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of resiliency and data protection across Infrastructure Technology
• Assess maturity and identify opportunities to improve resilience and recovery
• Drive adoption of best‑in‑class resiliency capabilities
• Develop executive presentations, strategy documents, and capability guides
• Translate complex capabilities for executive, business, audit, risk audiences
