• Track record of strong cross-functional partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Policy.
• Exceptional curiosity to understand the status quo and explore alternatives.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information into clear documentation.
• Experience contributing to after-action reviews and retrospectives for continuous improvement.

• Build, own, and improve resilience policies, standards, and plans aligned with Waymo's Safety Management System.
• Cultivate cross-functional partnerships to design robust processes, escalation pathways, and operational tooling.
• Lead value stream and process-mapping initiatives and standardize resilient workflows across markets.
• Drive continuous improvement and SMS assurance through post-incident reviews and root-cause analysis.
