Job summary

Waymo is seeking a senior leader to own the Emergency Response Team's operations, on-call programs, and cross-functional coordination across domestic and international sites. The role reports to the Head of Event Response and focuses on building robust action plans and crisis readiness.

You will drive real-time workflow improvements, develop site-specific procedures, and ensure facilities have necessary readiness equipment and redundancy during crises. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Policy, Operations Management, or related field.
• 8+ years in operations, program mgmt, and disaster planning.
• Experience scaling global on-call programs and escalation frameworks.
• Experience in tech/ride-sharing or logistics environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Emergency Response Team operations and on-call processes.
• Improve real-time workflows and align with Business Continuity Plans.
• Develop site Emergency Action Plans and readiness tooling.
• Coordinate with Public Safety and incident management during events.
