Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Resilience and Emergency Management Intern for our Austin, TX office. You will assist with research, data collection, and documentation for grants and disaster recovery programs, and help maintain project data in SharePoint, spreadsheets, and dashboards.

You will engage with grants specialists, planners, engineers, and project managers, contributing to timely project delivery while building foundational skills in resilience and emergency management.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 60 credit hours toward a related degree by start of internship.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn SharePoint and other project systems.
• Interest in resilience, emergency management, grants, or infrastructure programs.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with research, data collection, and documentation for resilience and emergency management programs.
• Review, organize, and track grant, application, project, or reimbursement docs for compliance and quality.
• Enter and maintain project data in spreadsheets, databases, and dashboards.
• Prepare correspondence, summaries, briefing materials, maps, and reports for internal review.
• Support quality control by checking documents for completeness and accuracy.
