AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Resilience and Emergency Management Intern for our Atlanta, Georgia office. The role supports resilience, emergency management, disaster recovery, grants, planning, and infrastructure initiatives for public-sector clients across the nation.

The internship offers hands-on experience; you will collaborate with grants specialists, planners, engineers, and project managers, with exposure to FEMA, HUD, and state agency programs while developing professional skills and

Qualifications

• 60 credit hours toward a degree completed by start of internship.
• Preferred fields include City and Regional Planning, Geography/GIS, Public Administration/Public Policy, Economics/Finance.
• A Master’s degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Support resilience and emergency management projects through research, data collection, and documentation.
• Review and organize grant applications, plans, and project records.
• Prepare correspondence, meeting summaries, presentations, maps, and reports for internal and client use.
• Maintain datasets, dashboards, SharePoint, databases, and systems of record.
• Conduct research/analysis including GIS, data visualization, and policy reviews.
• Perform quality assurance on project documents and data.
