Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Resilience and Emergency Management Intern to join our Austin, TX office. You will support project teams with research, data collection, and document compilation for resilience and emergency management programs.

You will assist with reviewing grant and reimbursement documentation, enter project data in spreadsheets and dashboards, and help prepare briefing materials and reports for internal review.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of 60 credit hours toward a related degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Willingness to learn SharePoint and other project systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools as support, not reliance.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with research, data collection, and document compilation for resilience and emergency management programs.
• Assist with reviewing and organizing grant, project, or reimbursement documentation according to program guidance.
• Enter and maintain project information in spreadsheets, databases, dashboards, and SharePoint.
• Prepare simple correspondence, meeting summaries, briefing materials, and reporting documents.
• Support quality control by checking documents for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
