Job summary

Window World Houston is seeking a Service Technician to provide service and repairs for residential windows, doors, and siding in the Houston area. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and deliver excellent customer service on every call.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather. Overtime opportunities and a path for growth with a trusted national brand are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, carpentry, handyman services, home improvement, or residential service work.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service appointments.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to use ladders, power tools, and hand tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls and repairs on residential windows, entry doors, and siding.
• Diagnose issues and determine repair solutions.
• Complete maintenance, adjustments, and light carpentry work.
• Install or replace hardware, weatherstripping, caulking, and trim as needed.
• Perform touch‑up painting and finishing work when required.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in a clean and organized condition.
• Accurately document completed work and communicate repair recommendations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
